Sophie was presented the REAF Community Service Award. She is also on the Board of Earth Day San Francisco.
For several years she was a board member of Raphael House Shelter, and on the board of directors at Edgewood Center for Children and Families, “The oldest children’s charity in the Western U.S and on the Board of Directors of the Richmond/Ermet Aid Foundation (REAF).
