Sophie Azouaou, C.E.O

Called an Interior Design Guru by Forbes Magazine, Sophie, the Founder and President of SophiSticate Interiors, is an Interior Designer, a national Keynote Speaker and Green Living Expert. She has earned a long list of credentials in the field of design including a law degree.

In her career, Sophie has been nominated for several Designer Awards and for her amazing work in the San Francisco Bay Area Design Community.

She also won the Best of Houzz 2018 for excellent services and “Best of 2012” Houzz Design Award. She was chosen by more than 1.2 million registered members of the Houzz Design Community.

Years of accolades and positive testimonials indicate that Sophie has delivered on her word and mission as “THE designer who gives back” and cares. 

Sophie was presented the REAF Community Service Award. She is also on the Board of Earth Day San Francisco.

For several years she was a board member of Raphael House Shelter, and on the board of directors at Edgewood Center for Children and Families, “The oldest children’s charity in the Western U.S and on the Board of Directors of the Richmond/Ermet Aid Foundation (REAF)

Sophie’s exquisite “bathroom bliss” designs were recently featured on Haute Living Magazine. 

Sophisticate Interiors has broken new ground in the Interior Design industry by leveraging Interior Design to improve the lives of San Francisco’s less fortunate.

Since being awarded three City Proclamations for her philanthropic efforts by Governor Gavin Newsom and the late Mayor Edwin Lee and the press that followed, Sophie has been called upon by several companies to represent them and spread their mission.
