The huge media production, IMG Fashion produced FashionWeekLive, a tour stopping for one night only in selected cities such as Chicago, Dallas, Houston and San Francisco.

IMG is the global producer of fashion week events, including the marquee Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in New York’s Bryant Park as well as events in Los Angeles, London, Berlin, Sydney, Singapore to name a few. IMG launched the event in Dallas on March 6th, then taking it then to Houston on March  8th, Chicago on March 13th and finally San Francisco on March 15th.

Straight form the runways of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in New York, top designers revealed their just-debuted 2007 Fall collections in each city. For one night, San Francisco was a Mecca for fashion. The event was presented by Sephora and sponsored by Swarovski. Merceds Benz, Lycra, DHL, and Moet & Chandon champagne.

Attendees were high-end consumers, comprised of representatives from the fashion industry and San Francisco’s finest.

It gave them an opportunity to view the designers’ collections before they are available in stores and magazine layouts. Excitement, energy, attitude, sassiness and glamour combined made it an extraordinary event.

The evening started with a pre-event champagne reception, sponsored by Moet & Chandon in the grand lobby of Fort Mason Festival Pavillon where people mingled.

Soon after, guests were led into the show venue to enjoy the one hour long fashion show and experience the thrill of fashion.

World famous supermodels Naomi Campbell and Gemma Ward opened the show in Marc Jacobs’ latest fashion designs.

Followed on their steps Jessica Stam in green chiffon dress from Peter Som
and Alex Wek in  sequined purple Nanette Lepore’s dress and jacket.

For one hour, models donned the latest collections from Oscar de la Renta, Peter Som,  Marc Jacobs, Badgley Mischka, Nicole Miller, Michael Kors, Donna Karan, Ellen Tracy, John Narvatos, Charles Nolan, Rag & Bone and Calvin Klein to list a few.

Under a thunder of applause, Super models Naomi Campbell and Tyson Beckford walked the runway one last time to introduce Designer Peter Som to the crowd.

Immediately after, guests were able to join the supermodels and celebrities for a fashion VIP after-party.
